Using Stickers in iMessage

Download and Install the App

Download Stickies from the App Store and install it on your iPhone or iPad.

Browse and Download Collections

Open the Stickies app, browse through available sticker collections, and download the ones you like. Free collections are available immediately, while premium collections require a one-time purchase.

Open iMessage

Launch the Messages app and open an existing conversation or start a new one.

Access the Sticker Extension

Tap the App Store icon (blue "A" icon) next to the iMessage text field. If you don't see it, tap the three dots (...) first.

Tip: If you don't see the Stickies icon, swipe left through your apps and tap the "..." (More) button to enable Stickies in your iMessage apps.

Select Your Sticker

Tap the Stickies icon to view your downloaded collections. Browse through your stickers and tap one to select it.

Send Your Sticker

You can send stickers in three ways:

  • Tap to send: Simply tap a sticker to send it immediately
  • Drag and drop: Press and hold a sticker, then drag it onto a message bubble to attach it
  • Peel and place: Tap and hold to peel the sticker, then place it anywhere in the conversation

Sharing Stickers in iMessage

You can share a link to any sticker collection directly from the iMessage extension — great for recommending stickers to friends.

Open the Stickies Extension

In iMessage, tap the Stickies icon to open your sticker collections.

Long-press a Sticker

Press and hold any sticker to reveal a context menu with sharing options.

Tap "Share" to Send a Link

Tap the Share option to generate a link to that sticker's collection. Send it in the conversation so your friend can download the same pack.

Importing Stickers via WeChat Official Account

Note: Use this method to sync stickers from WeChat into your own Stickies account. Make sure your stickers meet our content guidelines before importing.

Follow Stickies Official Account

Open WeChat and search for Stickies贴纸 (or scan our QR code). Follow the official account to start linking.

Prepare Before Linking

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Stickies installed and signed in on your iPhone
  • Access to the same iPhone when opening the link from WeChat
  • Stickers ready to send in your WeChat chat
  • A stable network connection for linking and sync

Send Any Text Message

In the chat with Stickies Official Account, send "any text" for example "Hi" to receive your personal account-link message.

Open the Link and Confirm in Stickies

Complete account linking with these steps:

  • Tap the link from WeChat to open Stickies
  • Sign in if needed, then confirm linking your WeChat account
  • Return to the WeChat chat after linking
  • If already linked, you'll receive an "already linked" message

Send Stickers to the Official Account

After linking, send stickers in chat:

  1. Send one sticker or multiple stickers in chat
  2. Static and animated stickers can both be imported
  3. If you send stickers before linking, you'll be asked to link first
Tip: You can send any normal text again anytime to get your link guidance.

Wait for Import

Stickies processes new stickers automatically. After a short delay, open the app and check your sticker library.

Use Imported Stickers in iMessage

Open Stickies to view and share imported stickers. If needed, send "any text" for example "Hi" to the official account again to receive link guidance.
