Using Stickers in iMessage

Download and Install the App

Download Stickies from the App Store and install it on your iPhone or iPad.

Browse and Download Collections

Open the Stickies app, browse through available sticker collections, and download the ones you like. Free collections are available immediately, while premium collections require a one-time purchase.

Open iMessage

Launch the Messages app and open an existing conversation or start a new one.

Access the Sticker Extension

Tap the App Store icon (blue "A" icon) next to the iMessage text field. If you don't see it, tap the three dots (...) first.

Tip: If you don't see the Stickies icon, swipe left through your apps and tap the "..." (More) button to enable Stickies in your iMessage apps.

Select Your Sticker

Tap the Stickies icon to view your downloaded collections. Browse through your stickers and tap one to select it.

Send Your Sticker

You can send stickers in three ways:

  • Tap to send: Simply tap a sticker to send it immediately
  • Drag and drop: Press and hold a sticker, then drag it onto a message bubble to attach it
  • Peel and place: Tap and hold to peel the sticker, then place it anywhere in the conversation

Note: This method is for artists who want to submit sticker collections through our WeChat Official Account. Make sure your stickers meet our content guidelines before submitting.

Follow Stickies Official Account

Open WeChat and search for Stickies贴纸 (or scan our QR code). Follow the official account to get started.

Prepare Your Sticker Collection

Before submitting, ensure you have:

  • 8-24 sticker files (512x512px, GIF/PNG/JPG, max 500KB each)
  • Cover image (512x512px, PNG, <500KB)
  • Detail banner (768x512px, PNG/JPG, <500KB)
  • Collection title and description

Send "Submit" to Start

In the chat with Stickies Official Account, send the keyword "提交贴纸" or "Submit" to begin the submission process. The bot will guide you through the steps.

Upload Collection Information

Follow the prompts to provide:

  • Collection title (in Chinese and English if applicable)
  • Brief description of your collection
  • Pricing (free or paid)
  • Your artist name and contact information

Upload Your Files

Send your files in the following order:

  1. Cover image
  2. Detail banner
  3. All sticker files (you can send multiple files at once)
Tip: WeChat compresses images. If your stickers lose quality, try packaging them in a ZIP file instead.

Review and Approval

Our team will review your submission within 3-5 business days. You'll receive a notification via WeChat once your collection is approved or if any changes are needed. Approved collections will appear in the Stickies app.

Track Your Earnings

Once your collection goes live, you can check sales and earnings by sending "我的收益" or "My Earnings" to the official account.
